Elvis? Nova Scotia? Don't like spinach (or collards)? Oh well, we're not all perfect like me.

  • gapeach said 7 months ago

Yes, believe it or not and I did not belive him at first, his name really was Elvis.  I'm sure glad I did not marry him!  It is ridiculous that I'm from the South and I don't eat collards or turnips fixed with fatback or pigs feet. YUCK!

    Collards? Elvis! Greece is lovely.

  • gapeach said 7 months ago

Have you never had collards?  They are like turnip greens but have a slightly bitter taste.  They are cooked with fat back and stink up the whole house. NASTY!  Tongue out

Have you ever visited Beaufort SC? It is a surreal place in beauty and old Southern charm, and good seafood! Carol

I have visited Beaufort many times.  It is a beautiful old city and is about 2 hours from Augusta.  You are right; the seafood is fantastic.
